Prolific artist, Fernando Montiel Klint creates immersive experiences that challenge perceptions and spark dialogue; Capturing the essence of hypermodernity and the human condition, it interweaves visual art with social commentary, creating images that resonate with contemporary experiences and discourses. With his images, he consolidates his role as a keen observer and interpreter of the contemporary history of humanity. The work of Montiel Klint, internationally recognized on several occasions since the beginning of his career as an artist, appears in galleries and exhibitions around the world, reflecting the nuances, turmoil and transcendence of 21st century life.

His art delves into hypermodernity, contradictions and reflections on the transition to a posthuman era influenced by technology. Currently focused on surrealist imagery, Montiel Klint attempts to discover the link between nature and humanity, mixing science with ancestral cosmogony to present nature as a mental space. In 2023, with the project titled: The Golden Anfibio, he receives the acquisition award from the Image Center in CDMX, marking his privileged place among the most influential creators of his generation. His approach to image creation since 2000 along with his particular iconography, use of color, light, and photographic technique marks a watershed in the world of Latin American photography.

His works are part of prestigious international publications and collections such as the Guangdong Museum of Art (China), the Avant-garde Museum (Switzerland), the San Diego Museum of Art (USA) among others. Montiel Klint has had solo exhibitions in Berlin, Poland, Uruguay, Chile, Paris and Mexico. He has participated in group exhibitions and biennials around the world in places such as the Victoria and Albert Museum, El Palau de la Virreina, Barcelona, ​​La Triennale de Milano, ICP, New York, Musée du quai Branly, Paris, Palacio de Bellas Artes, Mexico, His work has been presented at photography festivals in Arles, Helsinki, Singapore, Greece, Switzerland, Bangladesh, New Zealand, South Korea, Portugal, France, Spain among others.

Currently (2021-2024) he is a member of the National System of Art Creators in Mexico, consolidating him as a relevant exponent in the field of contemporary photography. Coming soon, in October 2024, The Golden Amphibian will have a new revelation as a main part of the Plovdiv International Festival, Bulgaria.
