Oscar Álvarez Pardo (1967) is an experienced Spanish painter with international exposure. Composing acrylic and watercolor works on paper, he stylistically shifts between the realistic and the fantastical while maintaining an emotional narrative line in each piece. Inspired by Edward Hopper and Steve Hanks, it depicts themes of tenderness, romance, and loneliness with equal parts observational sensitivity and unabashed nostalgia.
