Pablo Luzardo was born in Mexico City in 1969, the son of Yandi Luzardo, one of Mexico's finest watercolorists. Pablo first came into contact with art at a very early age. Attracted to cartoons, he began creating cartoon characters as a child. In his teens, he spent his free time illustrating educational textbooks and a horse riding magazine. He decided to study Graphic Design at the Universidad Iberoamericana, where he took courses in photography, screen printing, textile design, and experimental techniques.
During his university studies, he began painting formally and held his first exhibitions. A few years later, he decided to dedicate himself fully to the visual arts and become a professional artist. He decided to leave Mexico and settle in the Canary Islands and Europe. He continues to paint and exhibit his work in various cities in Spain and Europe. Upon his return to Mexico, he settled in Oaxaca, where he established his studio for over 13 years. He came into contact with most of the artists of his generation living in the state and grew his interest in the graphic arts, where he developed the majority of his graphic production. In 2013, Luzardo returned to Mexico City and set up his new studio where he continues to produce work to this day, accumulating over 70 solo and group exhibitions in Mexico, the United States, Europe, and Asia, including in cultural centers, museums, and art galleries. In 2015, Conaculta published his book, "XX Años de Pintura" (20 Years of Painting).
